We’re searching for a key member of our growing team to set strategic direction/vision and be responsible for the development, implementation, quality, and effectiveness of analytics projects. You’ll propose and implement innovative approaches to meet our clients’ objectives using appropriate analytical frameworks and incorporate fata from a variety of data sources to make available business intelligence for our clients’ knowledge-based decision making. You must be able to demonstrate creativity in the design and analysis of projects and interpretation of results; serve as internal subject matter expert on all things health-care claims data; train/educate existing staff (analytics/operations and account management); and assist in presenting quantitative methodologies and analyses results to internal and external clients as needed. You’ll be conducting data retrieval, analysis and QC of data, as well as serve as claims data SME, combining your therapeutic-area knowledge to facilitate the sales process and assist with any claims/secondary data based objections.
You should have a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Market Research, Operations Research, Programming, Mathematics or Statistics with 10+ years’ experience in an analytical position, preferably in the healthcare industry, with emphasis on data analysis, data integration and quality assurance. We require demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical secondary data assets, to be conversant in advanced analytics solutions and experience working directly with brands, analytics functions, and leadership teams at any level of a pharma organization. You should be comfortable working in hands-on execution mode combined with the ability to delegate and lead. We’ll be looking for a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with superior organizational logistics, and time management skills. Working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; the drive to multitask; and the ability to communicate concisely and meaningfully with internal and external clients is necessary. Travel is 20% (regionally) to support client engagements
IPM.ai is searching for a Senior Manager of Client Service - a multi-faceted role that encompass both external, client-facing responsibilities as well as internal coordination responsibilities. Conceptually, this position will be ‘bridge’ between sales and delivery—translating sold engagements to the operations team for execution, managing ongoing project delivery and ‘evolving’ client expectations, maintaining proactive and consistent communication across client and delivery teams, supporting the sales force via strategic ideation on qualified opportunities, as well as translation into sales support specifications and subsequent development of delivery-related presentations. The successful candidate will be richly immersed in client-facing communication channels and build the technical specifications to ensure client needs are properly understood and managed by Analytics. Conversely, the role will translate Analytics output back to a client-ready format, acting as the primary quality control function between Analytics and Delivery. Strong communication skills/language, coupled with strong quantification skills, an uncompromising attention to detail, and sound technical capabilities/competency are critical to success.
You’ll manage healthcare claims projects from proposal stage to analytics to client delivery, collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders across each project milestone; proactively ensure delivery excellence by ensuring sales leads have appropriately scoped proposals; and be the single point of contract with the client, sales and operations team, ensuring that details of project requirements, and client needs, are properly understood and translated into coding and analytical strategies.
You’ll create and manage detailed, dynamic specification documents, at the claims-code level, for communication of project requirements between client-facing and Analytics functions; develop client-ready communications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience; performs qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the validation of deliverables; recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems, and underdertake self-directed research into various disease states – understand and document project-relevant disease information, e.g., epidemiology, patient demographics, symptomology, co-morbidities and medical procedures
The successful candidate will have a MBA, MSc, PhD or advanced degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in and around healthcare, commercial analytics consulting in the life science industry. We prefer a minimum of 3+ years of experience using patient level data in the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically in the development and use of data for commercial, medical, and scientific applications. You’ll also have superior presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented approach; deep commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience; strong organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple deliverables across multiple projects; and adaptability/flexibility. Travel is estimated at 25%.
